Cookie policy
Last updated 14 September 2026
We set as few cookies as we can get away with. Nothing other than the strictly necessary items below is set until you choose "Accept all" or tick analytics in the banner, and you can change your mind whenever you like using the button at the bottom of this page.
Strictly necessary
These make the site and its forms work, and under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations they do not require consent.
- seobristol-consent stores your cookie choice so the banner does not reappear on every page. Stored in your browser's local storage for 12 months.
- Netlify form protection sets a short-lived token when you submit the enquiry form, to filter out automated spam.
Analytics, only with consent
If you accept analytics, we count page views and the source of visits so we know which articles are worth writing more of. The data is aggregated, IP addresses are truncated, and it is never used to identify you or shared with advertisers.
- Page and source counts, retained for 14 months in aggregate.
What we do not do
- No advertising or retargeting pixels.
- No social media tracking scripts.
- No selling or sharing of any data with third parties for marketing.
Changing your mind
Use the button below to clear your stored choice; the banner will then reappear so you can choose again. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though that may affect how the enquiry form behaves.
